Mechanical seals are one of the mechanical foundation element with cprecision and omplex structure. Which is the key component of various pumps, reaction synthesis reactor, turbine compressor, submersible motors and other equipment. Its sealing performance and service life depends on many factors, such as the model selection,the accuracy of the machine, the correct installation and so on.

Mechanical seal installation and application requirements

 Selection of the main parameters are: the seal chamber pressure (MPa), fluid temperature (℃), working speed (m / s), fluid characteristics and installation space effectively sealed.

     The basic principles for the selection:

     1. According to the seal chamber body pressure to determine the seal structure using balanced or unbalanced type, single face or double face like.

     The operating speed is determined using rotary or static, fluid dynamic pressure type non-contact type.

     3. The temperature and fluid properties, determine the friction and sealing auxiliary materials, as well as the correct choice of lubrication, wash, heat, cooling and other mechanical seal circulation protection system.

     4. The effective seal installation space, determining a single multi-spring or spring or wave spring, built-in or externally mounted.
